The Singer’s Bill of Rights
This session (March 31, 2025) has been cancelled due to low enrollment. It may be rescheduled, so please check back for future offerings!
When a singer takes a voice lesson from a voice teacher, what is that singer entitled to receive from the experience? And if they are not getting what they are entitled to, how can they change that situation?
During this 45-minute workout—delivered live, via Zoom—you will be introduced to The Singer’s Bill of Rights: seven key “rights” (experiences) that every singer is entitled to have during the voice teacher–voice student relationship. You will also learn how to:
Assess the effectiveness of a voice lesson
Request clarification of instruction
Recognize common red flags in the voice studio
